Sathyabama University placed in the 1201-1500 rank band in THE World University Rankings 2023. The rankings are based on 13 factors that measure how well universities teach, research, share knowledge, and have an international focus. The Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings is an annual publication that ranks universities worldwide based on several key indicators of academic performance and reputation. The rankings provide a comprehensive overview of the global higher education landscape and are widely recognized as one of the most influential university rankings. To ensure the rankings are accurate, the researchers studied more than 121 million citations from over 15.5 million research papers and got feedback from 40,000 scholars worldwide. They collected massive information, with over 680,000 data points from more than 2,500 participating universities.

Sathyabama University admissions 2023 for the various undergraduate and graduate programmes are now open. The university is also inviting applications for the Sathyabama All India Engineering Entrance Examination (SAEEE) 2023 for admission to B.E., B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Des programmes. Sathyabama University was established in Chennai in the year 2001. Before, it functioned as an engineering college with merely three departments and three UG programmes. When Sathyabama University was granted university status, a total of 15 departments came into existence with 10 UG and four PG programmes. In the year 2012, Sathyabama University was declared a category 'A' university by MHRD. Sathyabama University is also accredited with an 'A' grade by NAAC. To be eligible for Dr Jeppiaar Remibai Merit Scholarship the students need to know the following rules - 

• Based on the university exam result, only the top 3 rank holders of each branch are eligible for the scholarship.
• Students should have scored a minimum of 75% and must have cleared all the subjects in the first attempt.
